A tall and hairy perennial wildflower with pretty, deep pink flowers. It’s sometimes called hairy willowherb and is frequently found on damp soils in hedgerows, ditch banks, roadside verges.

General information

A perennial, flowering plant and the largest of the willowherbs found in the UK, reaching up to 2 metres in height. It thrives on damp sites, such as river banks, ditches, grassland, woodland and hedgerows.
